I can not see my server / No one can connect to my server Please make sure, that you have opened all the required ports in your router. If the everything is set correctly, but the problem still occurs, please contact your internet provider.
Is there another way instead of opening the ports? Yes, you can also host your server through a VPN network like 'Hamachi'. Of course only the people in the VPN network will be able to join the server then. How can i change my server port? Just edit the bat file with '-port 27015'. @Ronanfalcon, I afraid because of 1 mistake, you'll get vac banned, so thats make things harder.
So, it is okay to kill a bot to reinitiate another match. Thanks man!;) @Heart Crisper, so this mean, if I make the server insecure, vac is disabled. Same goes to, the singleplayer right? Means, if I set the launch options of CSS to -insecure, the vac is disabled?
I think it supposely to be like that. Owh I see.Thank for the tips.;) I edit the bat file as the instruction by adding the word -port 27015.
Start srcds.exe -console -game cstrike -secure +maxplayers 22 +map dedust2 -port 27015 When I look at the server, it shows this; Network: IP 192.168.43.39, mode MP, dedicated Yes, ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL Note: I use mobile hotspot as my internet connection. As my wifi has a slower speed than my mobile internet. 0™ With insecure you deactivate VAC on your server, so no, u won´t get a VAC Ban. If you use an Admin Menu on YOUR server, which you installed, you won´t get banned, and also: U can´t use it, if you don´t have the access to it. If you play against a Bot in singleplayer it will be hosted WITH VAC, so don´t hack, or u will get a ban. But: What you can do is use the console commands like 'botkill' for example. To your last part: DId you forward the ports?
How exacly did you host it? @Ronanfalcon Thanks for the help! @0™ I killed my bots everytime I wanted when I was playing, a couple of years ago. From my experience,I believe it is ok to set the rules for yourself and friends with the internal commands from the game itself because it appears that Valve liberate this system.

I did not used the command 'cheat', but I always killed the bots to reinitiate another match. Valve has a public list of commands for CSS that is open for anyone to see, so I believe is open to use as well. If you're still in doubt, you can wait for a response from Heart Crisper to confirm.
@Heart Crisper oh i see.Now i understand. Its working! Like a charm! Btw, let say I play with my friends and set it to insecure mode, if I use any cheats or maybe others just for fun will it be a Vac Banned? Or if i use the admin menu, will I get any banned? Just curious as I new to this Vac Banned. Even if i play with a bot in singleplayer, I was scare to use the console to kill all the bots and etc.
I don't support cheating. If I play with others on internet servers, I will not cheating. Not ever, as its was wrong. One more, I notice my server is in Lan tabs/categories.
Not in Internet. It is normal? @Heart Crisper, thanks.so, its suppose to be legal then.
Counter Strike Source Dedicated Server Setup
By the way, can i use my steam account which i normally use to play games or have to create another one? I can still join with then same steam account right? 'After installing Steam, you must create a Steam account to run your dedicated server. This is separate from the Steam account you normally use to play games. If you attempt to run a dedicated server from your normal Steam account, you will not be able to join your server using the same account.' @Ronanfalcon, its okay.haha.btw, u can still join the game with the same account right?
8 Counter-Strike: Source (CSS) is a competitive first-person shooter game for PC that is strictly for online play – indeed there is no offline mode at all. While it was originally available as a free mod for Half Life, it is now a full paid product on Steam. What is Counter-Strike: Source? Counter-Strike: Source is a remake of the original Half Life mod, built in the far prettier Source engine. Anecdotally, the original developer of the mod was Turtle Studios – a team that later became better known as creators of the Left 4 Dead games. Counter-Strike: Source’s gameplay remains the same.
This focused FPS shooter throws players in as either terrorists or SWAT who must battle each other while trying to complete a series of objectives (hold hostage vs save hostage, for instance). The ultimate goal is to win more rounds than the opposing team. Be warned: play five minutes of Counter-Strike: Source and it is possible that your social life will become a thing of the past. Counter-Strike’s charm lies in the teamwork and strategy needed to win. This forces quick relationships (both positive and negative) to be formed with your team. You really feel like you're fighting for you cause, be that saving the world or destroy it. All of which has made Counter-Strike a high-water mark for competitive online games.
The facelift the series needed One of the great attractions of Counter-Strike: Source are its maps. Most of these remakes from the original mode (such as denuke or csassault). But whether new or old, the challenge of every map in CSS is learning how to dominate it – finding every secret nook, cranny, and bug to exploit in order to secure victory. No, it isn’t cheating, it’s the game. As previously mentioned, CSS uses the Source engine (as seen in Half-Life 2).
The result is a visually more powerful, expandable, and scalable game – with the ability to add effects like normal mapping, reflections, HDR, and even physics with the Havok physics engine. Fortunately, at this point CSS is old, so even with this visual overhaul you don’t need a powerful PC to enjoy the game. Counter Strike: Source is the first in the series exclusive to Valve’s Steam platform. Optitex 9.6 rapidsharedownload free software programs online.
This represented a quantum leap in terms of online matches, but many users are devoted to creating versions of No-Steam Counter-Strike: Source. We wouldn’t recommend these though – stick to the official version. Are you ready to understand its success? Counter-Strike: Source is the best in the series, and the best entry point for new players. Want to find out why this series has so many followers? Look no further, download it now.
